Had lunch at WHEAT, this cute little restaurant in some back alley of Toa Payoh interchange, behind Bossini and Singtel. Also the alley which has the best tau huay I've ever had. Unlike the traditional sweetened syrup most shops use, this one uses soya milk. All dishes are cold noodles, light and healthy and perfect for quick lunches. Kinda like, salad noodles. One thing I find disturbing about the menu that although it's cute, the dish titles make me feel as if what I'm eating contains it, like Seal, Dolphin, Penguin. Ergh
Water chestnut
Dolphin - ramen noodles in miso sauce with prawns, carrots, lettuce and quail eggs
Penguin - green soba noodles in roasted sesame sauce with shredded chicken, fried eggs, carrot, Japanese cucumber, lettuce and quail egg
Silken Tofu
Had Astons for dinner at Little India where they had these fans which reminded me of Final Destination.
<3 Cheesy but I fucking love ya! I can't keep track of how many years we've breast friends already and you know that keeps it real. Found some really good buys today and trust me, only a handful are patient enough to shop with me.
